All our motorhomes come fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and a small cleaning pack. You just need to bring bedding (duvet and pillows plus bedding) and towels, along with your personal belongings.
Yes we have several new automatic vehicles at each site. The Elddis are all new to the hire fleet in 2026. These are popular vehicles so early booking is recommended.
Make sure you have uploaded your ID, paid the full balance and security deposit. Ensure you have packed your bedding (including duvets and pillows), towels and personal belongings. Let us know in advance if you need the fridge pre-cooling i.e. if you will be bringing cold perishables, as the fridge does not cool while the engine is running.
With economical use the leisure battery can last up to four days. The leisure battery can be used for appliances up to 12V. You can run the following within the motorhome; cooker (providing there’s enough gas), TV, fridge, lighting.
We provide a generous mileage allowance of 150 miles per day. This is cumulative for the duration of your hire, so if you hire for 5 days you will have a total mileage allowance of 750 miles. The mileage will be noted on your handover checklist on collection and again on return. If you exceed the maximum number of miles for the duration of your hire, you will be charged an additional £1 per mile.
For an additional fee, you can add on the unlimited mileage pack - but this must be ordered and paid for before you collect.
Yes for a small fee (£50 per dog) you can bring your canine companion.
Once you have chosen your model and dates and added any additional extras you can secure your booking online for a £250 deposit. Please note if your hire date is in less than 45 days when making the booking, full balance must be paid at the time of booking.
Secure your booking today online by selecting the dates, location and vehicle you would like and paying the non refundable deposit of £250. This will reserve your vehicle and will be taken at the same time as the booking. Payment can be made online by debit or credit card.
The remaining balance must be paid in full (including any optional extras) no later than 45 days prior to collection date. You will receive a reminder by email with a pay link just before this date.
If your hire date is in less than 45 days when making the booking, full balance must be paid at the time of booking.
As with other motorhome rental companies, we require a security deposit of £1,000 to be left with us when the vehicle is collected. Ideally we prefer you to pay this prior to collection via your online hire account as this will ‘pre-authorise’ the £1,000 rather than taking payment from a card.
The ‘pre authorisation’ will be removed from your card in full on return, provided the condition meets our terms and conditions.
Common reasons why your security deposit will not be refunded in full include(but are not limited to):
- Fuel tank not full on return.
- Waste / toilet tank not emptied prior to return.
- One or both gas cannisters not returned.
- Damage to the exterior or interior of the motorhome (that was not included inthe pre inspection check list signed by the hirer on collection).
- Returnable inventory items (plates / cutlery / pans etc) missing or damaged.
- Pets have been in the motorhome without prior approval.
- Evidence of smoking, heavy drinking or drug taking in the motorhome.
- Late return of the motorhome.
The motorhome can be collected from us between 1pm and 4pm on the pre agreed pick up date. We will contact you in advance to arrange a time for collection. Please be aware that if you arrive outside your allotted time you might have to wait during busy periods.
The motorhome must be returned to us by 11am on the pre agreed return date. No refund will be payable if you choose to return the vehicle prior to the pre agreed return date.
During quieter times we may be able to extend the return time for a small additional fee. However, the intended late return must be notified to us and expressly agreed with the location you collected from prior to the return date.
Late returns not previously approved will incur additional fees.

Whist our motorhomes are set up for a short stint of "off grid" motorhoming, we strongly encourage all guests to check their destination to see if there are any local rules / laws in relation to wild camping.
If travelling in England and Wales, wild camping without the landowner’s permission is generally illegal (with few exceptions).
If travelling anywhere in Scotland (routes such as, but not limited to, theNC500), you should familiarise yourself with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code (SOAC) that advises on the general rules for wild camping. Wherever possible, you should always try to book in at designated camp sites, which not only provide all the facilities you would require, but also helps to support the local communities.
We always encourage following responsible camping practices, including:
- Minimal impact - minimise your impact on the environment and do not camp in sensitive areas.
- Respect for others - whilst you may be enjoying a leisurely holiday, please remember locals still have their daily lives to get on with. Please use the passing places and allow traffic behind you to overtake at the earliest, and safest, opportunity.
- Leave no trace - leave the area as you found it, ensuring you remove all traces of your stay.
- Check fire conditions - be aware of any fire restrictions and potential fire hazards, especially during dry periods.
LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS, TAKE ONLY MEMORIES
